This exercise will help you understand WHY it is important to solidify a clear picture
of your goal

Puzzle Exercise – use a puzzle you have a home or you can buy an inexpensive one at the Dollar Store!

Turn all pieces of the puzzle upside down – put the cover away – no color and no picture. Spend 10 minutes – no more than 10 minutes putting the puzzle together without the cover and without turning the pieces over to see if the color is right.

Write down your feelings —

confusing
no direction
where do I begin?

Part II

Now you see what the finished puzzle should look like!

Turn all pieces of the puzzle right side up  – get the cover.  Spend 10 minutes – no more than 10 minutes putting the puzzle together with the colors showing and with the picture on the cover.

Write down your feelings… for example

  • Ahhh I see now
  • More relaxed
  • Easier to figure out
