Okay – so what does this all mean?
Cars, keys, and character?
How many times have I admonished someone for not having an extra set of keys to their car?
Wait… how many times have I suggested that it is so important to have an extra set of keys and know where you put them?

More than I care to admit.  So the universe is teaching me a lesson.
Not only did I carefully hit the ‘lock’ button in my car, I also closed the sunroof and let my AAA lapse!

I reinstated it but cannot use it until tomorrow… unless I want to pay an additional $40… I may wait a while and see if I can get a friendly AAA person who has read Shep Hyken’s new book, The Amazement Revolution. Who wants to AMAZE me today? Anyone?
UGH!!!

So with this comes the inability to do all those things I had planned to do on this absolutely gorgeous day here in Colorado. The temperature is about 75 perfect degrees… on my list of to do…character… now is the time to examine my character and hold myself accountable for the things I said I was going to do and make them happen regardless!
YES!!

  1. Wash my car
  2. Work out (today I was planning 2 hours at the gym
  3. Practice putting and pitching

That being said, I had already gone to the store and my bags are tucked safely away in my trunk… only perishable is the rice milk, which may be okay… I am so grateful I don’t eat dairy! I am so grateful I bought my frozen veggies yesterday

Did you ever notice how the simple things have a HUGE effect? Sometimes it is just knowing that the thing we want to use is there.  The minute it is unavailable – we want it… we need it… and we appreciate it.  Okay so perhaps it is time to be in gratitude again… yes another lesson and the reminder to be in gratitude – thank you for this lesson!

UPDATE!! My wonderful neighbor had AAA! Travis came and unlocked my car -YIPEEEE – still have not found my other key – the good news is that it IS somewhere in my house… much gratitude to my friend, neighbor, and savior – Marilyn  – she is an angel!! Hugs and thanks… I can breathe again –

Also, my office is clean, my garage is clean and my car is clean – YAY!!
