How to Change your Thoughts in 3 Ways
Isn’t it fascinating how you read about the importance of changing your thoughts?
It is important to think positive thoughts, yes, but when you have so much negativity around you, how do you do it?
Impossible to THINK Good and Bad
At the Same Time!
#1 Did you know that it is impossible to think a good thought and a bad thought at the same time? A person can only think one thought at a time. It is a fact!
Try this now… look up at the ceiling and think of a good thought, a magical thought. Do you have it? Do you have that thought? Are you smiling? Great! Now embellish it! Feel it! Imagine that you are there now experiencing it.
For me, it is always easy to imagine I am on the beach. I can feel the spray of the ocean on my skin. I can smell the Coppertone. I inhale and within seconds, I am taken away! The palm trees are swaying. I can move my feet back and forth and feel the white sand between my toes. Are you with me?
You all have the ability to do this. Don’t look down yet. Keep smiling! Take a deep breath!
Okay, now try to think a sad thought.
You can’t do it, can you? Good job! You now have one way to change your thought!
One of my favorite quotes is this one from Einstein,
Logic will get you from A to B.
Imagination will take you everywhere.
- Magazines (you can find them at doctor’s offices, beauty shops, nail shops)

- Poster Board
- Magic Markers
As you go through the process of cutting out the photos, you will become emotionally involved and your thoughts and your vibration will be higher. The key is to become emotionally involved. Make sure you have great music playing. Put your phone away. Turn OFF any electronic devices. You don’t want any distractions.
Whatever the mind of man,
can conceive and believe,
It can achieve.
Take the time to exercise these higher faculties of your mind.

Taking the time to exercise your higher faculty, the mental muscle called your imagination will excite, energize, and escalate the process. Before you know it, you will have changed your thought. In fact, I’m guessing that in reading this little blog, you are already in a new space. A happier place!
Take about 15 minutes each morning to write down six new ideas.
- Get quiet
- Soft music
- Paper (blue cards work really well for this exercise)
- Pen (preferably a special pen, one that makes you feel successful and ignites your imagination)
Allow the thoughts to come to and through you. Write them down. It is best to use a pen and paper rather than the computer. Something magical happens from the head to the hand. Get emotionally involved! Have you heard about Mind Movies? You get to be the star, the lead in your own movie. You can see yourself in possession of the good that you desire. Use all the tools you can find to create your new reality.
